Spawning

Fire Spirits do not spawn naturally. Instead, they appear when the player places any of the following:

  • Torch
  • Lantern
  • Campfire

Behavior

  • Passive -- Fire Spirits do not attack.
  • They follow their owner, staying within 64 blocks.
  • They will despawn after 10 minutes or if they stray more than 64 blocks from their owner.
  • Immune to all fire damage.

Healing Flames are a valuable alchemy ingredient, making Fire Spirits a reliable early-game source of this material.
